The Bears were possibly the best team never to win a NSW premiership.
 This jersey is always a crowd favourite. They North Sydney Bears team played the field of dreams vs Gelnora Bears 1987 in a Night Game Carlaw Park No1. Mark Graham "Legend" Captained the North Sydney Bears between 1981 and 1988. Mark Graham was named on 26 August 2006 when the club announced their "Team of the Century" MG was named in the second row. Fred Ah Kuoi Carlaw Park Die Hards "Legend" played for the Bears 1981 to 1983. Clayton Friend another dead set Carlaw Park Die Hards "Legend" had a very long spell with the Norths steering them around the park and left in 1990.
